DezLin Ring Bombs come in US ring sizes 5 to 13, and you choose the size when you order, so measure before the reveal, not after. The chart below converts US sizes to the inside diameter in millimeters, and the string method under it takes two minutes. If you already own a ring that fits, measure its inside diameter and read across.
How a ring bomb works
A Ring Bomb is a white bath bomb, handmade in Lodi, CA, with a sealed .925 sterling silver ring inside. Drop it in a bowl of water, it fizzes away, and the bagged ring is left behind. The ring is sized before it goes in: the bag color inside and the last two digits of the SKU both mark the size, so the ring you reveal is the size you ordered. The mystery is the style, not the fit. There are 100+ cubic zirconia styles and 360 genuine gemstone styles, all .925 sterling silver with a triple rhodium coating.

Between sizes? Order up. A ring that is a little loose is comfortable; a ring that is a little tight does not go on. Knuckles matter too: if your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle.
Find your size in two minutes
With a ring you own. Lay the ring on a ruler and measure the inside edge to inside edge in millimeters. Match it to the diameter column.
With string or paper. Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimeters. Match it to the circumference column. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are their normal size, not first thing in the morning or straight out of a cold car.
With a printable sizer. Print at 100% scale and check the test line against a ruler before you trust it.
Kids and plus sizes
Sizes 5 and 6 fit most kids and petite hands. Sizes 12 and 13 are the plus sizes. If a child is between sizes, order the larger one; fingers grow and a ring can always be worn on a different finger. For a size outside 5 to 13, ask on live chat and we will tell you what is available.
Skin safety
Ring Bomb rings are .925 sterling silver with a triple rhodium coating. Rhodium is a hard, bright metal from the platinum family that seals the silver, so the rings are nickel-free, hypoallergenic-friendly, and do not turn fingers green. The metal content is verified with an XRF analyzer. The bombs themselves are white because they are undyed: the ingredients are baking soda, citric acid, water, a base oil (no nut oils) and an essential oil for scent, with no artificial coloring. If you have a known fragrance or oil allergy, ask us about a specific bomb before you order.
If it does not fit
Rings are sold in specific sizes, so ordering the wrong size is generally the customer's responsibility. That said, DezLin's Easy Peasy 15/60 Day policy applies to the ring: an item that has been fizzed open can come back within the window for store credit, less a 10% entertainment fee, as long as the ring is in new condition. Many wholesalers keep a small stock of common sizes so a customer can swap on the spot. A local jeweler can also resize most sterling silver rings. If you received a size different from what the bag color or SKU says, send a photo with your order number and we will make it right.

What ring size am I?
Measure a ring that fits: its inside diameter in millimeters maps to a US size in the chart above. 17.3mm is a size 7, 18.1mm a size 8. No ring handy? Wrap a paper strip around the finger, measure the overlap in millimeters, and use the circumference column.
Do bath bombs with rings come in size 8?
Yes. DezLin Ring Bombs are sized 5 to 13, and you pick the size when you order. The ring inside is already that size; the bag color and SKU confirm it.
Are the rings in the bath bombs real?
Yes. Every Ring Bomb ring is .925 sterling silver with a triple rhodium coating, set with cubic zirconia or, in the gemstone line, a genuine gemstone. Pieces listed as plated are a different line and say so.
Do ring bomb rings tarnish or turn your finger green?

What ring size should I order for a kid?
Most kids fit a size 5 or 6. When in doubt, order the larger size, or choose a DIY Bomb with an adjustable sterling silver ring piece, which the child sets their own pearl or gem in.
