Our Edison pearls are prized for their large size and vibrant, mirror-like luster - a bold, modern look in a real cultured pearl. Each loose pearl measures roughly 9-11mm and is hand-selected for quality. Perfect for DIY jewelry, floating lockets, rings, and statement pieces.

What is an Edison pearl?
An Edison pearl is grown by implanting a mother-of-pearl bead into a freshwater mussel. Over several years the mollusk layers nacre (nay-ker) around that bead, growing a large, lustrous pearl. Yes - it is a genuine cultured pearl.
Good to know: Edison pearls are not perfectly round - gentle dimples and slightly oblong shapes are natural and part of their charm. Perfectly round Edisons are rare and priced higher. Need a larger size or a matched pair for earrings? Email info@dezlin.com.
